ActiveX recognition problem between a VC6 and VC7 compiled application
We are experiencing problems with the TestPartner ActiveX recognition when moving from a VC6 to a VC7 compiled application.
With the VC6 compiled application, we had no problem to attach and to interact with our ActiceX controls. With the new application compiled with VC7 (.NET Framework 1.1), we can not attach or get a descriptor to our ActiveX control any more either using a GUIObject() method or a ActiveX() method.
Did somebody already experienced this kind of problems and found a workaround ?
PS : we are using TestPartner 5.2.1 build 156

ActiveX does not exist in .NET, so your app no longer uses ActiveX (OCX). This is now a "3rd Party component" or in other words a control not part of the VS .NET library.
TestPartner -will- have the ability to use the .OBJECT approach in .NET but it is not available in the current GA.
