The behavious I saw was that the object identification identified the grid not as ActiveX, but as GUIOBject.
When I compiled a test application as ANSI it correctly recognized the grid. Turning UNICODE on again confused the object recognition.
Unfortunately our application heavily depends on UNICODE so compiling an ANSI version is not an option.
I just hope it gets fixed soon so I can get to doing more extensive testing.
