Click not always executed!
I have a problem with a Java web application.
The recording and playback worked good the first few times, but then I ran into a problem on one specific point in the script.
There is an anchor which changes style and functionality after a undefined time (depends on load). After this change there should be a click on this anchor. I inserted a wait event to trigger this change. The event works fine as I can see in the logs, but sometimes the click is not executed, although it is logged as passed.
Does anybody have similar issues with TestPartner 5.1.1?
Any ideas for a smart workaround?
Thanks in advance
Re: Click not always executed!
Sounds like 2 problems, but hard to tell which is at the root.
1) Clicking a link after a style change:
Sounds like you have your event working, but in case its not, you can use script to wait for the link to have the sytle you are waiting for...
'Pick best property from Identify tool to use here
do until JavaObject("Style=&H5000",tpAttachNoWait).exists = true
2) Clicking the link, but not really:
Things like this can happen when you object is present (in memory) but still hidden/blocked by another object. Does the mouse move to where the object is/was? Maybe a sleep before .click?
