How can I check multi language software with one script?
The aim is clear => avoid all language dependent information in the script (Header, Caption, Label, …).
Until now I have not found the optimal settings (Optins?).
Can anybody share his experience?
Thanks in advance!
Re: How can I check multi language software with one script?
i have this experience. I have written scripts to test our product which supports Spanish, French and German. As you said, logic is very simple. Dont hardcode anything like label, title, button name etc. We adopt the simple method of hardcoding all labels, titles etc in a text file and have separate text files for each language. Get the input from the user about the language name and read it from its appropriate text file. But, best thing u can have is put these info in back end tables and get it from tables.
I'm able to implement this without any problems.
Try it out...
