I am very new to TestPartner. I am testing a webpage in which I am having problem typing into an edit box. When I identify the area it only shows "HTMLID" and does not highlight the edit box itself. Looking at the html code there is the following:
<TD class=TextMed vAlign=center>Loan Filename: <INPUT class=formInput
type=file size=45 name=LoanUploadFile>
<INPUT type=hidden name=FolderID><INPUT type=hidden value=1 name=Page>
Does anyone have any suggestions how I might be able to get TestPartner to input to this form?
Something must have happened to the code, here it is:
INPUT class=formInput type=file size=45 name=LoanUploadFile>
INPUT type=hidden name=FolderID>
INPUT type=hidden value=1 name=Page>
I have only a work a round for you.
Work with the Tab-Key! With this, you can give the focus to the Edit-Box.
It's really a work a round, and the script is more in "fault-danger" (sorry for my bad english), for Example they change the order of the filds (you have to press the Tab-Keys a second time to give the edit-box the focus).
Hope this works.
You can find Topics like that in the QARun Forum as well.
You may be able to find an "Attach Name" for the edit box, by doing a Property Check on the full HTMLBrowser. This will return all of the objects within the page, and the attach name for each. (make sure to check the 'Include Hidden Objects' option in the Check Creation) If you are able to find the object in the Tree, highlight it to display its attach name. Then script the line:
Hope this helps.
