Micro Focus releases CPWR products technical staff

On Friday March 4, 2011, Micro Focus released all of the QA Load, QA Director,
and Testpartner technical staff from it's Troy Michigan location. This included
development, QA, and support personel. These people were the original Compuware
technical staff for those products. Development for those products was based in
Troy. Support will be handled by the Belfast (Borland) office.

Hope they got an update for Test Partner with IE9 before they layed people off.

I have confirmed that around 100 people were let go - none of the original developer/support for these products remain w/the company.

Re: Micro Focus releases CPWR products technical staff

I have not posted here in quite some time but I figured one last time to thank you all for the past ten or so years in the automated testing environment. I know that automated testing with any application can really have it's ups and downs and many of you have experienced some frustrating times with TestPartner, but I want you to know that those of us that did development for this product do care about you and what you were/are trying to accomplish. That is part of the reason that I used to post here so frequently, not only to ensure my own success but in that I really felt strongly about the abilities in our tools.

I wish you all the best, hope that your investments pay off and that you all continue successfully with automated testing as it is of true value to our industry.

P.S DSquared, I'm sorry that I never responded to your message. I was trying remain anonymous.
