    TestPartner.TLB...here again

OK I succeded to pilote TestPastner (with TLB classes) via a userform, for creating a testscript, putting in a certain content(like custom templete content from an external file).
I had information directly from Microfocus advandced guys that it was neither supported by compuware nor by microfocus.
I'm working on it step by step.
Does someone interrested in working with me on that subject? or not? Last call to share results founded.

    Re: TestPartner.TLB...here again

A couple of years ago, I created a TP driver in Excel using Excel's VBA.
Basically, it used the command line to launch the TP Object.
As for passing parameters, simply write a text file in .ini format
and have the script read it using the Utility ini read/write capabilities.

Thank you jcd123. This can be another way to work.
Actually, I could'nt succeeded yet to create modules using TLB. I will try with command line.
Perhaps by asking TP to launch with a copy of a template already existing.
I will send if this works for me.

    Re: TestPartner.TLB...here again

    Hi,

With command line, I succeeded to do what I needed.
I still don't know how to use TLB but I will continue to work on that. Some news later I hope.

    THANK YOU jcd123 !!
