\"Unable to locate the object\" for ImageMap
Im fairly new to TP and searched on the forum and couldnt find anything on this.
So when i capture an imagemap with the capture button i will see a preview of the area(tab/button) i selected. However, when i click "Locate" it will not find the image and will give me the error "Unable to locate the object". This only happens for some parts of my application.
The question is, is there a way i can force TP to find the selected area/image and click on it? In some another program(Auto-It) i know i could find a unique pixel then do a color calculation on the area then click on it.
Thanks in advance!
Re: \"Unable to locate the object\" for ImageMap
I can't think of any way to force it to find it but the problem is likely an attachname issue. Depending on what version of TestPartner you are using this could be a problem that has been fixed in a patch or may be something simple that you need to tweek.
Your quickest solution may be calling tech-support. To troubleshoot, you can try creating an object map entry for the same object you are creating the image map entry for and try locating it through the object map entry. This will likely give you the same result. If the result is the same, try chaning the properties that are being used to locate the object to see if it makes any difference.
