I have a JavaTabControl("Index=1") and I need to figure out if a specific tab exists.
If I wanted to select that tab I would do
JavaTabControl("Index=1", tpAttachNoWait).select "Online Payment"
I tried to take this and turn it into an if statement.
Really just putting an = true at the end. The problem with this is that it runs the command, it selects that tab first then knows its a true case. Because it actually runs this, if the tab is not there, the script errors out.
I would like to do an exists, but I can only do that on that Tab Controller which is always going to exists.
Any idea? Really if I could wrap the select function in some exist function that tests if it worked or not would be good?
I actually had tried a thing called FindItem and you pass in a string. When I tried it I was checking for a True or False. and it failed. After looking at FindItem it gives me a Number of where in the list the item is found. So once I changed it to > 0 then it worked and is just what I wanted.
