    TP 6.0 Crash (can not start TP) on Windows 7

    Hi there!
    I have used Testpartner on XP it works fine.But when i installed on windows 7.

    from start programm when i start testpartner.i get the following message.
    "A crash has been detacted,Woulld u like to save the diagnostic file created as a result of this problem....."

    can any body help why is that and how to solve this issue.?

    I'm just going to guess, but likely TestPartner doesn't work on Windows 7. All previous versions of TP at the time a new OS was released didn't work either. Usually support is added in the next SP or next version.

    You'll need to contact microfocus support and confirm and/or find out when they plan to support it.

    Current AUT running test scripts on TP 6.3 build 183, SQL 2000 DB.
    Legacy AUT running on TP 5.6.0 Build 81 and TP 6.2 build 449 with SQL 2000 DB.

    Test Environment:
    TP/IE Clients on VMWare ESX 4.1 server, AUT Servers on VMWare ESX 3.5 server.

    Application Under Test (AUT):
    Client/Server based, IE 7/8 interface with SQL 2005/2008 DB.

    Automating with TP since August 2004.

    Are you using the 32 or 64-bit version of Windows 7? I have TP 6.2 installed on the 32-bit version and it works just fine. However, Microfocus has told me that they won't support any 64-bit OS's until the next version.

    TestPartner 6.3.0 supports Windows 7. 32 bit version anyway.
