Whenever Event - Can I use wild cards?
I have a situation, where I am trying to trigger an event as long as when there is text exist. It doesn't matter what the text is. I thought of using Whenever Event, but how can I do that? Will I be able to use wild cards? I tried using * but looks like it doesn't work...
Re: Whenever Event - Can I use wild cards?
If you are just looking for the existence of text use a time event that polls the control/window, then within the whenever use CaptureText() to capture the text from the window (or you could use the Text property). If the string is not empty then proceed with whatever you want to do when there is text there.
