Having trouble working with the checkboxes in our custom Oracle application.
TP help states;
" Note: TestPartner does not support the use of the SetCheck() method for Oracle JavaCheckBox controls. The Click() method is used to instead."
I am wondering if this is alluding to an inability in Test Partner to recognize the state of a checkbox in Oracle.
Has anyone successfully worked with a checkbox in Oracle using something other than a bitmap check?
All of the threads I looked up on this seem to be of no help.
This is one from left field .....
<ul type="square">[*]Create an ImageMap entry of the inside of the checkbox when it is selected, this is tricky because it will be very small but doable. Name this "CheckboxON".[*]User Identify to get the name of the checkbox, e.g. JavaCheckbox("Index=1")[*]Convert the code to the following
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>if JavaCheckbox("Index=1").BitmapExists("CheckboxON") = False Then
End If</pre><hr />[*]Run the script and be happy
I tried this with a checkbox in Firefox and it worked.
