If I use TestPartner to close my application under test, the application process is still active. When I close testpartner then it release the process. As I loop through the application many times logging on and off, it is consuming all the memory. Has any one experinced this before.
TestPartner 6.1.0 Build 242
Windows 2003 server
Service pack 2
The application is written in DotNet, Visual basic 6.5 and C++. It does not matter what way I close the AUT, from the File menue File-Exit, Logoff and close or just click the "X" in the upper right hand corner. I can close it and the process goes away if TestPartner does not open the application.
If you are using test scripts, you should also make sure that you aren't creating or setting any objects that you are leaving in memory once they are out of scope. This would likely produce the appearance of a memory leak.
