    Hi Friends

    All this while i worked only with web appns using TP. But now my next assignment is going to be automation of Power Builder Application using Test Partner. How different is it going to be when compared with web appns. Any tips that could be helpful before If I start.

    Is the PowerBuilder application you are dealing with going to be delivered by web, by .NET, or by the PowerBuilder proprietary 'thick client'?

    Hey sachin12,

    It is certainly going to be different. Apart from Windows and Buttons, most of the other power builder objects will not be recognized by TP 6.0 since they all sit on the data window. You have to go by referring to GUIObjects and the x,y coordinates.

    It's not as direct as using TP against web-based or VB applications...let me about it...I am using TP against a PowerBuilder app for more than 2 years now....

    Hi,

    Please let me know the usage of MicPbDataWindow or MicPbWindow etc

    I tried as follows

    Dim objPDDataWindow As MicPbDataWindow

    Set objPDDataWindow = GUIObject("ClassName=pbdwTest Caption=''")

    n = objPDDataWindow.ColumnCount.

    PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE CORRECT PROCEDURE
