TestPartner Betch call AND Check Result via Batch
Hi @ll )
could you please help me on the following point:
At the moment I'm not able to use QADirector, that's why I have a batch file to start testpartner script.
tp -u "me" -p "mypass" -d "tp_db" -r "Common" -s "myScript"
The script "myScript" is ready and works fine )
The script consists a check. If I run the script manually from the TP, I see the passed result of the script by the end of a manual run.
How can I found out the result (pass or failed) if I use my batch file
Is there maybe a parameter, that I can use to create a log file with a testResult from the batch?
Thank you for your support!!!

You might try a search on this forum. I believe you will find that command line switches have been discussed.
Look in the QAD manual to find the TP command line switches. It is probably in the TP help also, but I know I have seen it in the QAD manual.

You can use tpexport.exe to export result run and analyze the result using xml processor. It is not really difficult to get the number of failed/passed checks especially if you use XPath.
For the tpexport, you can also check my blogpost about exporting the latest run result which is easy to read using Excel or IE, maybe Firefox as well.
