Problems with GetProperty - anyone seen this one ?
I'm testing a java based web application and I'm attempting to determine whether a pushbutton is enabled or disabled. The extended properties of the button show a "disabled" property.
I'm using the command
Result = GetProperty ("PushButton","@Confirm Ts and Cs Button","disabled")
When I run this I get the error - "Cannot perform the command on the specified control". Based on this error, I can see that QARun is finding the PushButton but just will not return the property.
I have tried getting numerous properties from the control and always end up with the same error message.
Is this just a problem with using a java-based web app or does anyone know of a way round this ?

hCtrl = ButtonFind ("@~Button name")
if CtrlEnabled( hCtrl ) = 1 ; Button is enabled
Re: Problems with GetProperty - anyone seen this o
Thanks for that one Myrtle - I've tried your suggestion but quickly realised that the way the app is built, the whole web page has the same handle so I'm not able to identify an individual object. I presume that this is the root cause of the problem I'm seeing - I'm going to have to just click the disabled button and ensure that it doesn't process any action.
Cheers again for the advice - much appreciated !
