    Re: scripting portion (popup window)

    Ok..thank you for answering my query.Just to make sure that i understand u correctly.Pls verify my steps.

    This is how i recorded the script initially

    Attach "Microsoft Internet Explorer PopupWindow"
    Button "Cancel", 'Left SingleClick'
    Pause 2, 'Seconds'

    So i need to do a screen event capture (like the one in the above attached image) and call the above cancel code?

    EG
    Cancel_Popup = MakeEvent ( )
    whenever Cancel_Popup
    Attach "Microsoft Internet Explorer PopupWindow"
    Button "Cancel", 'Left SingleClick'
    Pause 2, 'Seconds'

    Re: scripting portion (popup window)

    Use a Whenever screen event. You should place the Whenever command at the beggining of your script to ensure that it is the first thing that is loaded. Within the Whenever function you will need to add the code that handles the window. When the script is executed QARun should monitor for this popup window and whenever it appears it should handle it appropriately and then continue with normal execution.

    Re: scripting portion (popup window)

    I don't know if I would use a makeEvent. I would predefine the event and then the script would look something like the following.

    Function Main

    Whenever "Screen-0001" Call OnScreen0001
    //Whenever should now be loaded into memory

    /*
    rest of script here
    */

    End Function ; Main

    Function OnScreen0001

    //This handles the popup
    Attach "Microsoft Internet Explorer PopupWindow"
    Button "Cancel", 'Left SingleClick'

    End Function ; OnScreen0001
