Visual Basic tab dialog control fun
Running scripts against an application written in Visual Basic.
The system has to select from comboboxes in a tab dialog control on a form.
With subsequent rebuilds of the system combobox Control ID's change. They then have to be reidentified.
A workaround is to cycle through a range of comboboxes (say 1 to 30) until a box is filled. This has drawbacks as a) A Value may get populated to the wrong box. b) It may be that an item should not populate to a box.
experiences of ideas anyone.
Re: Visual Basic tab dialog control fun
Does the tabbing order remain the same? If so, can you tab from the previous control and then use FocusName() or similar to get the name of the control?
Then pick the item using ComboBox() without having the control in the Object Map....
