Re: Storing script settings in the Windows registry
This thread has some really good registry access information in it, including a script that I use all the time.
Storing script settings in the Windows registry
I have a number of hard-coded paths in my scripts that I would rather store in the Windows registry. I need to run my scripts on a number of different machines and the various paths that I need to keep track of are likely to change from machine to machine.
I am curious to know how others have dealt with reading data from and storing data in the registry. I couldn't find any functionality built into QARun that works with the registry.
I am thinking of writing a DLL to make it easier to access the registry from QARun, but I am wondering if there is an easier way that someone else has already found.
