Re: what can be done using Alias Map and Image map?
Alias map is for defining a control type that QARun doesn't recognize. For example, I have a text box created with Delphi. The class is TEdit. But QARun doesn't know what "TEdit" is. So we create an alias map to tell it "TEdit" should be treaded as an "Edit" control. This must be done before I can use QARun commands that work with Edit boxes.
Image maps will let you take and save a snap shot image of somthing in your application. So later on you can use BitMapSelect function to click the picture.
I wasn't to clear on you question...did this help?
