Rebooting on error
I would like my error handler to be able to reboot the machine and then kick off the next script. I can write the script name to my external log file then read it when the machine comes up. Any ideas how to kick QArun off again and run starting with the next script after the error? Can I program something with VB or Perl to do that?
Re: Rebooting on error
The way i handle reboots, is to write the name of the next script i want to run back to a text file. Then i have a vbscript in the allusers/startup directory that launches QARun and executes a default script.
The following should launch QARun.
Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WshShell.Run "fullpathhere\runawl.exe -user:'Global,username,password' -runenv:'Default' -compile 'Control Script'"
This default script can then read the name of the required script from the text file and run it.
Hope this helps
