I am working on a script that requires me to determine if the buttons on the toolbar are enabled. I would prefer to do this programatically without using a check. The toolbar is identified as ~ToolbarWindow32~Toolbar. There is no text attached to the buttons.
Using a image map had occured to me however we are trying to minimize anything going back to the server. I am looking for something that can be done completely on the client side. I tried to get the text off of the button with ListItem call and doing so GPFs RunAWL.
You used the ListItem functionality to return the text from a ToolBar button? Are you surprised it blew up? Does it look like a list to you? Maybe follow-up by alias mapping a calendar control to an edit...
TG- There is no need for you to be rude to people. This forum is intended to help people. I think we should make the new-comers feel welcome, not try to point out there mistakes.
AND just so you know... Beal was right in this situation, in many cases you can use ListItem to pull text off a ToolBar Button.
And Beal... I haven't found anything for you yet, but I'm still looking. Please don't think everyone here will treat you like TG does.
