I just learned that there is a patch for 4.7.4 for VB6 applications. In my case, my target application I was automating didn't work with QArun because of a VB file change. The file is msvbvm60.dll. The oldversion I had a version of 6.00.8877. The newer version, version 6.00.8964, rendered my scripts useless because the object maps didn't recognize the target application. After talking with Compuware, they informed me of this patch.

Lesson learned: basic core vb files do affect the properties of the object map data. Be aware of this as you maintain your test automation scripts!
