You know, I tried just about every key on the keyboard to get that checkbox to work. I guess I did not try the space bar (the largest key on the keyboard) . Turns out I have to press the space bar twice to check the box.
I guess I should have known this, I am more of a pointer and clicker, rather than a keyboarder.
How do you name a checkbox when QARun will not even recognize it? The checkbox is contained in a grid within a child window. When I use the identifier, the child window that contains the delphi grid is outined. I can not get QARun to identify anything within the child window.
I can map the regular delphi TCheckBox's, but not a checkbox in a grid.
As of now, I have hard-coded keystrokes that work fine. I would rather be able to identify the checkbox if it is possible.
You have to put focus on the cell first before the checkbox or other control appears. Atleast that is the way it is in my app. QARun only sees the grid as a whole and not the objects in the cells. I wrote a function that you can pass the row and column in and it will use the tab and arrow key to put focus within that cell. Once i'm in the cell my control(checkbox) will show up and qarun will see it.
If your not part of the solution, there's good money to be made in prolonging the problem.
