Here what is our setup.
1)Conductor Runs on Windows Terminal Server
2)Player agent Runs on Windows XP Professional
3)Another Player agent Runs on Windows XP Professional
Both Windows XP Professional PCs have higher configuration then Windows Terminal Server.
Because of both PCs have higher configuration, we are using Local datapool, thinking that reponse time would be better.
If we want to use Central Datapool then we need to have our datapool on Windows Terminal Server, which will slow the response time.
Do you think is this correct?
Slow the response time of what, the Player PCs?
Unless you are maxing out your PCs or Network, you should not be able to see the difference in Player PC performance running Local or Central datapools. At least that's been my experience.
