Thanks in advance for the answer.
I already know how to set up a datapool and then use then parametarize the fields in Vistree mode through the EDIT BOX FILL IN FORMS. For example, I created a file
and use this datapool file to the fields, (yup you guessed it) username and password through the EDIT BOX FILL IN FORMS.
However (to the real issue), I want to know how to parametarize a field inside my application through the .cpp (C++) file.
For example, I have a search field, and this is my goal
in the data pool file is the following
Will I Am
Any help would be appreciated to use this through C++. Thanks guys..
...... or maybe (if anyone knows) that there is a way to add a parameterization in Vistree that does not have an EDIT BOX.
see response to the same question your other post.
You can also do everything in the .cpp file. Easiest way to learn the comands is to perform a parameterization in .vistree and view how it is done in the .cpp file...
A problem is a difference between what is perceived and what is desired, that
we want to reduce (Dewey 1933)
tnx drazzle.... i noticed that QALoad recognizes some of the fields as CGI param and not as edit boxes.... took me a while to see how, but I did it through vistree as you described.
my original issue was I was not able to find CGI params... therefore I thought that QAload was not recognizing the fields that I entered values into and looking for ways to param there in CPP.
