I have set up some pretty basic load tests and have ran them. ...But I can't seem to tell if anything is going WRONG!
1. How do I know if there's an error? Perhaps the data I sent does not exist? Maybe a button I "clicked" has properties that changed?
2. When I saw somebody demo the tool to me, I saw data running up on the player machines. I don't see anything in the player machine's window on our systems here... What am I missing? It's just a white window with summary and resource info at the top....
Thanx in advance! (And an answer to these would be appreciated SOONER rather than later - cuz I'm working this weekend if I can't get it right!)
1. This is a very good question.
First you should use Content Checks to validate the responses - make sure it is unique to the desired result. Otherwise, you can add extract strings to look for error msgs (and call Fatal Error if found...).
Presumably if you are not sending the correct paramters with a button click, it will cause an invalid response that the Content Check should find.
You do need to find ways to validate the activities. If you are adding data that goes to a database, you can check for the updates there also (after the fact).
2.The data being displayed in the player window is an option(s) in Conductor (Debug Options and Menu:Tools~Options, Player tab). Note: For large tests, it is best to have this window minimized as displaying lots of msgs takes up lots of player PC resources.

Sorry to hear that. And sorry not sooner, if I were to actually work on the weekend, I surely won't be spending time on these forums...
