Dynamically manage application windows
We are currently attempting to record scripts, but within the application a variable number of popup windows may appear in sequence which need to be cleared using the return key i.e. to allow continous processing.
We are running through Citrix so QALoad is making use of the CtxWi class. We are looking to get a handle to the active window and check to see if we have reached our desired location or if we need to send a return key to the active message box hence we'd need a pointer to the current window.
The scripting is C++ but I'm struggling to find any examples which dynamically access the applications forms.
an example would be
CtxWi *pCurrentWin = new CTxWi( some way to access current window )
//Send return key to current window.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Re: Dynamically manage application windows
Did you ever find anything to take care of this need? I too am looking for something similar to deal with various popups that occur during my load testing.
