first, I installed QALoad, then I installed VS2005 with VC++.
But I found QALoad failed to detect the compiler. see attachmed pic.
Should I re-install QALoad again? or there is any way I can configure a c++ compiler for QALoad manually?
I've fixed this problem by installing a VC++ 6 other than VS2005.
What version of QALoad were you using? Only QALoad 5.5.1 and QALoad 5.6 (currently in BETA) support and recognize Visual Studio 2005.
HP Software Solutions
I am using the QALoad of version: 05.02.00 Build 220
I am using QA Load Version 05.05.01 Build 181.
When I compile the script 'you dont have vc++ compiler on your machine. you cannot compile the script until you install' error message is being displayed.
For that we are trying to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 on QA load server machine.
Do wee need to set any setting in QA Load after installation Microsoft Visual Studio
Please make sure you have the latest SP4 for 5.5.1 installed. You can find it on frontline. Than see if QALoad recognizes your compiler, if not, try to reinstall the compiler.
