When you select the visual tree, hit CTRL+F - this will open the find dialog. Type in the username you used when you logged into the mail account. Click the Find Next button, and this should take you to the portion of the Visual Tree that contains the application data you are seeking.
In general, for any data you typed in while recording, you should be able to simply search for it. A best practice is to have the Transaction Start tree node selected when you search - this ensures you are searching from the beginning of the script, but not searching through your datapools and rules and whatnot.
Is not the form field for "passwd" right below the "login" field? It is when I record against Yahoo! mail. When I recorded it, the password was not encrypted. I am using QALoad 5.5.1 SP4 with EasyScript for SSL (required for HTTPS to work right - Yahoo mail is HTTPS).
Is rediff using basic authentication? Yahoo mail is not.
I think session IDs are handled automatically, I have not had to manually parameterize these.
