iam facing an issue like once i login to the application with the NTLM user credentials, i do click on button after selecting some of the options in the drop down. Once i click the button the nest page immediately shows "page cannot be displayed"
let me know if any of you encountered the same and steps taken for resolving the issue.
manually iam able to go through all steps mentioned in the business test cases.
the protcol is www with https.
the details of qaload are version/build:05.05.01/181 installed on win2k3sp1.
Okay - based on the heading, what does this have to do with AJAX?
As a first guess, I would guess that the version of NTLM you are using is actually something called Kerberos authentication, which QALoad currently does not support. I would start with confirming whether this is the case or not. If it is, there is a security checkbox option within IIS to demote the authentication to Basic, which is supported by QALoad. This workaround should allow you to proceed with testing until QALoad supports Kerberos.
As a second guess, without any other information, I would assume that the HTTP protocol you are using requires HTTP 1.1 in order to operate - and using Internet Explorer, the default option is to block HTTP 1.1 through a proxy (a checkbox setting on the advanced tab). Try clicking that option and re-recording to see if that works.
In any event, if you continue to have problems, I would suggest contacting technical support - you might want to try the Asia-Pacific support number and/or email as the time zones will be much more convienient for all involved.
