Winsock conversion ...Is it standard?
Does recording standard windows applications(ie telnet client) which results in Winsock recording require a seperate license or is it a default with the tool. Currently I am getting an error during convertion stating that I don't have the QALoad_Winsock license. My manager is telling me that they previously had scripts that worked ....
The person who wrote the scripts is gone and the scripts themselves are lost ....
The only thing that may have changed is a upgrade in releases to 5.5. I don't know what release was used when they originally accomplished the scripting
Any ideas on if this is a default or if I am doing something wrong?

You will need a seperate license for WinSock. You should be able to record, but not convert WinSock captures without a license.
