Iterating through response\'s <input /> parameters
I am load testing a web application using QALoad 5.5. The page has a table which adds a row (each has 2 textfields, 3 selects and 3 hidden fields) for every request, upon save the application sends all the values of the rows back to the server.
Is there any way to chanage the scrpt so that this runs for unlimited number of adds.
The main problems are
1) The names of the fields(hidden, text, select) are not known and will change for each row being added
2) The number of fields are growing at each add.
In the above case 1 row will havle 2+3+3=8 fields and 2 rows have 16 fields and three rows will send 24 fields to the server... and adding a row after 99th row will send 800 fields of data.
While sending the values for the next request i have to get all the fields from the previous response and send it back to the server. along with the new values set for the current row..
1) Is there any way to know the count of the <input.../> params in the response.
2) Is there any way to Iterate through all the input params. and get their names and values.
Re: Iterating through response\'s <input /> parameters
Please find following function which will iterates through reply buffer and returns number of items found. you have to change question mark with the unique string on your reply buffer. If you can send me the reply buffer I can change it for you.
