    Re: ODBC Recording Method

    gesh_007,

You shouldn't have to figure much on the QALoad side in order to be able to capture the API calls your application makes. Typically there are two types of Capture Options available in ODBC middlware: User Started and Automatic.

In User Started, you have ability to manually start your application. However if your applications makes any initial calls before the main application is loaded QALoad will not capture those.

Automatic mode lets you capture the initial calls (ex. automatic authentication) but if your application launches additional windows, we wont be able to capture them.

Again, depends what your requirements are and what application you're trying to load test. Besides that...start QALoad, than press Record button and fire up your ODBC app and start capturing.
