I used following command to retrieve dynamic data from the application, but iam getting a problem with left and right strings, exactly what part i have to take neither left and right strings.
p = DO_GetUniqueString( "text to the left side of the string",
"text to the right side of the string" );
if (p != NULL )
strcpy( temp, p );
free( p );
RR__printf( "String value = %s", temp );
Please help me out how to solve this problem.
Pretty vague question: My guess is you have something like this:
Order Number: 205-192-320
To get the order number, the left parameter should be:
and the right parameter should be
That should work fine. The completed example would be:
pszPointer = DO_GetUniqueString("Order Number: ", "&");
You don't actually need to check if the pointer is NULL anymore - the DO_GetUniqueString will fail the script if it cannot find what it is looking for.
Two questions: Have you called tech support, and is there a reason you are not using the Visual Navigator (which is much easier to use)?
Hope that helps!
