It sounds like you are trying to write the script by hand, as opposed to recording it. Instead, enable the record options for QALoad, and then record opening and exeucuting queries inside the Net*8 SQL Editor. While recording, you can insert checkpoints to time individual select statements.
You might be surprised at how chatty Oracle can be! This creates a more accurate and reliable test script, and is substantially easier to do.
On computer where I run QALoad (computer of client), there was installed Oracle 7xxxx, but database was under Oracle 8xxxx, so I used Oracle 7 OCI library. The script that I wrote to this forum was recorded (and slightly modified) by QALoad.
When I install to that computer Oracle 8xxxx client and record script, everything was OK. Thanks for reply [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
