QA Load installation
I have to Install QALoad ver5. Compuware needs the host id of my system which is Win98 to generate a license. My question is can I install QA load (conductor and workbench) on my PC whereas run the players/vusers on another system? If so, do I need to have 2 separate licenses for both the system or can I share the license? We have 100 concurrent virtual users for web testing.
Re: QA Load installation
Windows 98 is not a supported platform for the current release of QALoad or the Compuware License Mgr--review the release noteson the CD.
The license mgmt utility can sit on any machine on your network that the various QALoad components (Player, Conductor, etc) can access via TCP/IP. You only need to set up one instance of the license mgr. I would recommend that you install it on a network server somewhere as opposed to a users machine so that it is always running.
