Has anybody had experience testing Oracle applications via a URL with jinitiator,
What i would like to know is the easyscript that needs to be used and any problem that were encountered.
Also the same for any applications using the MSMQ protocol, which easyscript did you use and did you encounter any difficulties
For Oracle applications you are going to need the Oracle Forms Server EasyScript. If you could reply back with some configuration and environmentsal information I could be sure about this.
As far as MSMQ, there really isn't an easy way to do this. I specialize in QALoad, but I think that you can use QAHyperstation to test this, but that is only if the applications are on a mainframe. It has been attempted with Winsock, but not with much success...at least that I know of.
Why do you want to use QALoad for load testing MSMQ? What version of MSMQ Can't you write a custom client using the API? I've actually had to do this myself recently and it wasn't too difficult. The only QALoad testing of MSMQ I've done was two steps back, generating load on a webserver, which talked to an appserver, which placed messages on specific MSMQ queues. Using ServerVantage, I was able to integrate MSMQ performance counters (and other) into my reports.
The solution i actually have is to pass messages to the message queue using the http protocol and having the relevant web services running on the software under test, the services place the messages onto the queue which are then distributed
