    Database path: include and libraries

    Hello,

    I am new to testing tools. I trying to setup QA LOAD for ORACLE session.
    Option==>Convert===>oracle tab.
    The database I will access is on other machine.
    How I can setup this path for includes and lib.
    I have oracle run time install on my machine.
    When I give d:\orawin95\bin then my compile for program fails because it is not able to find ociapr.h file.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Database path: include and libraries

    The directories that you need to have in these
    are the following:
    \oracle\ora81\oci\include
    \oracle\ora81\oci\lib\msvc

    These can be found in the directory where the ORCL client is installed. To find the directories quickly you can also just do a search for ociapr.h. If you do not have the client for ORCL installed then you might have to install it to get the libraries.

    I hope this helps...
