Probably, Telnet session was gone shortly after you had done with your testing. Compuware do not support this session now.
I'm using the Winsock session. It looks very simple. I could say, there is two commends: DO_WSK_Send, and DO_WSK_Expect
I've got a problem (even testing with only one VU) sometime I'm getting "Out of memory".
The memory of my machine is far way of out of memory and I have unlimited memory access on the servers. Additionally, I've found out when I got this error message DO_WSK_Expect (this is response) can not get what suppose to get. I've increased the "Sleep" time after it, but this doesn't work.
I've posted this question already and I hope that some one will help me with this.
I think the Easyscript for Telnet module was removed in 4.8. Telnet scripts should use Winsock now.
I don't know why you're getting "out of memory" problems, but I suggest it's an installation issue. Try a repair or deinstall/reinstall on the player machine. You could also post your script here and we can see if there are any obvious problems.
You are correct Perfmonman
Use winsock. Goto capture options and
select -1 to match any port
-1 to match any host
Use automatic startup. Specify the directory
that telnet.exe is in so it can automatically
come up when u hit the capture button. Make
sure u have no application open beside telnet
and QL when u capture from it.
