We are performing load testing for Oracle forms and web application. As per our client requirement, we are executing test which comprises of 60 to 65 scenarios / session in conductor. In conductor, on timing options we had unchecked "enable automatic check points" as we had specified user specific check points at relevant places.
Test is executed successfully, but on completion of retrieving timing file we find check points not displayed for some scenarios.
Please do clarify me on following points:
1) Is there any limitation for maximum number of scripts accommodated per session when we run in conductor.
2) Any other settings available in conductor/ analyzer for enabling check points display for all scenarios
3) Is this issue is relevant to thinning data. If so, please do let us specific settings which we need to set for display of check points for all scenarios on completion of test run.
did anybody had this type of issue earlier? Awaiting for your suggestion please !
My only guess is (3) - data thinning may have caused the checkpoints to be missed, but I'm not sure as this seems like a bug in essence. I should be easy to test, set the thinning to some crazy-high number for short test of 1 script and see if it displays the checkpoints.
Why don't you open a call to MF?
A problem is a difference between what is perceived and what is desired, that
we want to reduce (Dewey 1933)
I had raised incident with MF guys and they are insisting us to check only on timing options in conductor.(i.e "enable automatic check points") for displaying check points for test run.Iam not convinced with their response and incident is still under investigation. Iam just exploring in multiple dimensions.
Base on your knowledge / experience is there any other settings which needs to be done in conductor / analyzer to display check points?
