More than one user running QAD scripts problem
Myself and a collegue are wanting to runn QAD suites at the same time, using the same database which is on our network. We are logged in under different user name.
The problem we get is that jobs are not started due to the following message:
Failed to start execution engines(no system resources?)
Any suggestions about what is going on and how to get around this problem would be welcomed.
Re: More than one user running QAD scripts problem
Is the test execution server up on both machines?
If your using a QARun dbase, I would also check to make sure that the tool domain setup for that central dbase is either using UNC in the path or using the same drive letter. I've seen where this could be a problem when trying to run QARun scripts on different machines.
What kind of scripts are in the suites you're trying to run? Are they QARun?
If so, I've seen where QADirector cannot truly submit tests in parallel, and that there are a couple of steps to take to simulate this process. If needed, I can possibly give you some of the steps, and maybe this will help in what you're trying to accomplish.
