You cannot add a column. We use the Notes column to list our expected results.
You can also use the Question step type for expected results. (example below)

Text: Launch IE and type following URL in address bar: http://www.cnn.com
Possible Answers: Pass/Fail
Expected Answer: Pass
Step Type: Question
Text: Was CNN.com main web page displayed?
Possible Answers: Yes/No
Expected Answer: Yes
We also use the Notes column for expected results. I don't consider just Pass or Fail as an expected result. The expected result is what you expect to see as a result of taking some action. For Ex: Test Action: Click the 'Check Light' button; Expected Result: The light turns blue. If the light is blue the test Passed, If the light does not turn blue, the test Failed.
