I just have a quick question. I am running some scripts from QA Director which do not complete (suddenly stops) but have no problem running from Test Partner.
I was wondering if the following statements when executed from QA can cause any failures:
debug.print err.description 'will this cause script to fail/ QA Director unstability because there is no output window.
Stop statement ' can this cause QAD unstability.
If you are running them from QAD, then they must be mature enough to run without debugging, right? Why not lose the debugging after you are done putting the scripts in the can?
How long are these scripts? If I remember correctly there is a default setting in QAD that will "stop" script runs after a certain period of time has elapsed.

By default, scripts in QADirector will time out after one hour. This includes test suites. You will have to change the defaults if your script or suite is expected to run longer than an hour.
