I have a requirement where i need to connect to a unix machine (which is in LAN) and
execute some commands through silk test which is running in the windows machine as a host. Commands in the sense like commands that will invoke the application, stop the application, file reading operations etc.
If there is any option available in windows to communicate to unix machine; something i expects like command line options so that using SYS_Execute() i'll achieve it.
Please help me
Re: How to connect to a remote unix/linux machine?
I use Putty, Plink, and pscp.exe (google them) to handle all my Unix commands. With plink and pscp, you can call those with just SYS_Execute(). With Putty, you need to declare the windows and automate it like you would any other windows application. For Putty, set it to log the screen to a file, so you can then parse the file to make sure you get a prompt back, or to get the results.
