    Java 2

Does anyone know if Silk supports Java 2? A client of mine is using the Java2 runtime 1.3.0. I'm looking into recommending Silktest for their testing, but can't see anything inside the java.

Short answer is yes. It does. Make sure you put the appropriate Jar file in the CLASSPATH. That is usually the reason for the symptoms you are seeing.

    Re: Java 2

I finally figured that much out, and put the jar file into the environment variable as required. But I still can't see inside the java. Now it seems to be even worse, because in the Options.Extensions dialog, the "Java Application" item has "(None)" for the primary extension, when it used to have "Enabled" (I think). What does yours have?

In addition, the "record declarations" (and record anything) has gotten so incredibly slow that it's become unreliable.

I'm going to have to undo everything i've recently done, uninstall, and try starting over again. At one point in time I was able to see the SunAwtFrame objects, but now I can't see any of those.

The Primary Extension should be set to none and the Java checkbox should be checked. Are you starting your application with java.exe or some other .exe?

Have you installed the certificate for Netscape? If not, make sure you do so (by going through Start->Programs->SilkTest->Tools->Certificate Install.
