    Re: Command Line

Type next to the default C:\>: partner.exe location, space, .t file location in "".
    My sample:

    D:\SilkTest\partner.exe "P:\Information Services\QualityAssurance\Perform_Test\TradeEntry\ optreg1010.t"

    Re: Command Line

I think qanymex misinterpreted the question.

There are functions to start DOS prompt in the QA Forums download area, but they only work with Windows 95/98.

The trick with Windows NT, is that the command prompt looks like a DialogBox to SilkTest, but the Start() method only exists for a MainWin.

This is how I got around that.

This code only does NT, but it can easily adapted to do both. (I am only working with NT at this time)

Please post your finished product so that we can all use it :-)

    Re: Command Line

Even though this may not be 100% what you want I did contribute some code to this forum, that should do the SYS_EXECUTE command in all windows platforms for QAP/SILK.

If you are interested go to dowloads-> Segue and look for the "SYS_EXECUTE for Win95" code. I think this is more of an issue for people with back level versions of Silk/QAP,
I was under the impression this is fully supported now in the latter versions of Silk.

I bring it up Just in case this may be of value to you. (Please dis regaurd if this is off the beam)
