Now i want to upload this file during the silk Script runtime. and get the values corsponding field.
Please let me know if u have code in this regard
Thanks & Regards,
Actually, I have not the xml parser right now. But I think you could download a parser and try to use the 4test call the parser during silktest. And I guarantee that it could work.
Open the Extensions Dialog, select the IE extension, click on options for your IE extension, check the XML checkbox and take the window declaration for the XML file and you can do GetContents for the xml file and then parse as you want it.
Hope this helps..
Correct me if I'm wronge, (...and I hope I am.) but isn't the XML option under IE7 for reading xml on a web page and not an xml file?
If we can use IE7 to parse an XML file can you so kindly post an example?
RCyr is correct. If you search for XML class you'll find a post and some code for this.
I used to read xml files by opening them in browser. I was using XmlNodeClass for each tag inside a BrowserChild to get the value associated with the xmltags.
but my xml was something like this:
<child field="test" order="1" />
and I wrote code to get the values of "field" and "order" in the above xml.
Thanks for pointing out.
