Help - Silk declares my browser as a dialog box

In one of my test OS configurations, Silk can't see my browser; instead it declares it as a DialogBox and almost everything within it as CustomWin's.
    Here are the details:
    NT4.0 Server
    NT4 Service Pack 4
    NT4 Option Pack 4
    IIS 4
    IE 4.01, SP1 (IE5 is the same)
Silk 5.0 (2.1.4 is the same)

I've tried every variation of default browsers, enabled extensions, and so on that I can think of, but to no avail.

    Any ideas??

What OS are you running on?

Can you please verify that you only have one copy of QAP or Silk on the desktop, then make sure that the Silk Dir is in the path of the system.

Finally make sure after enabling the extension that in runtime options the extend\netscape.inc or explorer.inc are in there?

    AJ,
    1) I'm running Windows NT4.0 Server.
    2) I have two items in the NT environment:
SEGUE_HOME and QAPHOOKS_INIDIR, both of which point to the correct directory. (The Silk directory isn't in the 'path' in any of my working NT installs.)
    3) \extend\explorer.inc is set in the runtime options.

    Tom,

Are you sure that you have the active desktop component of IE 4 uninstalled? I haven't had a chance to look at Silk 5.0 yet, but I'm pretty sure that In Silk 2.1.4 this will cause this problem. Go to Add/Remove programs and select IE and remove. It will return a dialog in that dialog there will be an item in the raodio list that either says Add the Active desktop component or Remove the desktop component. If the remove option is there, do it and see if that works.

    Regards,
