Verification for new Objects using Silk
A Script Creates a new user with different Username in the application each time it is executed as the Application doesn't allows to create duplicate usernames.
After new user is created, I want to verify the Username in the Page that display the list of all the users. But as each time new User with different name is created, for which the declarations is not defined in the frame file, Verify function returns false and the script fails.
Is there any way to verify the data which is created in the runtime and for which no declarition exists ??
Please let me know
Re: Verification for new Objects using Silk
Sure. How is the username displayed? In a list control? Is each unique user name it's own control (label or something)?
Say if it is a static text field that can have it's text vary at runtime, you can either define that static test field more generically...
And then validate the correct text, something like stUserName.GetText() == "expected"
Or build the control name dynamically at runtime to check if it exists...
wMyWindow.StaticText("new user name").Exists()
